Diokom Novi, d.o.o. (Ltd.) was established in 2003 as the legal successor of the companies Diokom and Jugoplastika.
The production programme, which also included the manufacture of polyester
boats, had been completely taken over from former companies when the production
plant was moved from Komiža to Split.
The production range was quite diverse, but the production was mainly
based on a polyester boat Pasara (4.59 m) and smaller boats up to 3m length.
It is estimated that almost over 2000 Pasara boats (4.59m) and 500 boats
up to 3 meters had been manufactured in the past few years.
The production of inflatable boats commenced in the early 1980's. After
the successful production of so-called PVC boats using high-frequency
welding, the production of Hypalon inflatable boats, assembled using the
traditional gluing method, started in 1989.The company produced popular
inflatable boats for its French partner, taking over the familiar name
ANC (Adriatic Nautical Club). At the same time, Diokom also included all
models of its top-rated inflatable boats on the domestic market.
In the past several years the company manufactured approximately 1300
inflatable boats.
