Dia-Mar Ltd. was founded in 1992 and deals with nautical equipment. In 2004 the company expanded into the production, repair and maintenance of vessels and has successfully carried out a large number of repairs, overhauls and modifications to small boats.

In co-operation with the Brodarski Institute from Zagreb the company devised the project of a smaller vessel - MARIN 22, intended for fishing and multi-day cruises. The boat is designed so that engines power range from 50 to 150 Kw may be installed, and thus giving an appropriate speed range from 9 to 23 knots. The boat was developed keeping in mind the elements of traditional forms of Adriatic charter, but with a modern underwater design. The large open cockpit and a large transom platform provide a comfortable longer stay and swimming, but also the possibility of fishing and the use of all types of fishing gear. On board is a complete kitchen and toilet facilities, which allows comfortable multi-day stays for three or four people. Fuel containers of 2x110 litres, and a water tank of 100 litres both guarantee a high degree of self-sufficiency, enough to cruise the Adriatic.
