ENAVIGO

The activity of ENAVIGO Ltd. Company is the production of traditional wooden boats. Building in wood is performed by the use of epoxy resin as a means of laminating, glueing and protection of the wood. Using wood laminating with epoxy resin we achieve a composite material of extraordinary maritime characteristics.

The “Enavigo 33” has been created by combining traditional design with modern equipment and modern production technology guarantees a long life for the boat and an extraordinary strength of hull. She has a cutter-type sailplan, with a long keel, a carefully designed underwater keel that follows a modern profile, thus making voyages comfortable and safe in any sea or conditions.

We would add that we are now advertising this boat in the British sailing press (Classic Boat magazine). Enavigo builds high quality wooden boats with traditional lines, but uses the modern strip plank and epoxy resin (WEST) method of construction. This system of laminating, glueing and protecting the wood results in a composite material that gives the
boat extraordinary strength and stiffness. The Enavigo Cutter offers both seaworthiness and security. Using modern equipment and a large production facility we are able to systematically control all conditions, a vital part of the production process. Quality control is something we take very seriously and every part of each boat is appropriately recorded and measured during the production process. This method allows us to retain high standards even in a labour-intensive environment.

Our vision is to reintroduce wooden sailing boats to modern man and continue the age-old tradition of sailing with majesty - and practicability.

ENAVIGO 56

Enavigo 56 is a light-weight boat of timeless design, made of wood, carbon fibre and epoxy. It is created for ultimate sailing pleasure. Deck and above hull have retro design, with carbon mast and fractional rig, whilst below the waterline its light displacement aims towards fast but at the same gives an easily helmed sailboat adjusted to shorthanded sailing. The interior and below-deck equipment can be entirely fitted to customer demands.
