NAVIS AUREA d.o.o. was established in 2001 and registered as a dry marina, which also offered its services for maintenance and repair of stored vessels. The company's business flourished and, in order to respond to new challenges, the management of NAVIS AUREA decided to build a new production facility.

The strong desire for sailing and many years of experience in the polymer business prompted the company's management to design and build their own -a vessel that would be appreciated both by younger sailors who simply love to compete in boat races as well as older ones who prefer family cruises. We also wanted to make our boats available to a wider circle, that is to boat lovers of all ages, both affordable price and acceptance of its simple but traditional shape.

The company has adopted the "vacuum infusion" technology which results in an increase in the strength of the hull whilst reducing the amount of material used in the build. An added advantage is the fact that it is more ecologically friendly, reducing the emission of styrene into the air.

All the above characteristics were skilfully combined in an ageless design of the sailing boat NAVIS 27 made by Srđan Đaković, a renowned naval architect from Split. The result of his strenuous but enthusiastic work is an excellent boat with excellent sailing performance characteristics, which has four berths in two cabins, kitchen and toilet, making it extremely comfortable even during longer cruises, whilst its keel is dismountable for easier handling and transport.

In its standard version the boat is equipped with Lewmar's enduring and stylish deck equipment as well as with other instruments such as speedometer, depth, wind direction/strength indicators, compass and VHF station. The boat comes with 9/10 "ZSPAR" mast with 2 spreaders.
